U-SPRAY OVERVIEW

Description: Normac is extremely pleased to introduce a new, revolutionary application process for all of our 100% Solids Sprayable Polyurethane and Polyurea Coating Systems. This application method consists of a hand held, air supplied pneumatic dual cartridge dispenser complete with a patented spray nozzle and air manifold. The dispenser is surprisingly light weight and easy to use. All you require is an air source.

Product: Normac 100% Solids Sprayable Polyurethane is packaged in either 300ml x 150ml, 300ml x 300ml, 600ml x 300ml, 600ml x 600ml or 750ml x 750ml cartridges in a sealed, nitrogen purged, foil bag complete with 1 x spray nozzle and 1 x flow restrictor valve. The dual cartridge dispenser is available in several sizes to accommodate the various cartridge dimensions.

Applications: Normac U-Spray is ideal for shop and field repairs of elastomeric linings and coatings, and for smaller volume coating jobs. All without waste and clean-up and without the time consuming, expensive use of plural component spray equipment.

The following products are available in this package form

100% Solids Sprayable Poylurethane

NR-55GL:    The cured hardness of this product is 55/60 Shore A. NR-55GL has excellent abrasion and tear resistance. An ideal coating for foam and other soft material application requirements including a higher co-efficient of friction for applications requiring non-slip qualities. Ratio is 1 to 1 by volume.

NR-80GL:    The cured hardness of this product is 75/80 Shore A. NR-80GL is a general purpose maintenance coating used for a wide variety of applications where good corrosion and abrasion resistance is required. NR-80GL has been used for truck bed liners and other non-slip applications. Ratio is 1 to 1 by volume.

NR-80LVHS:    The cured hardness of this product is 80/85 Shore A. NR-80LVHS has excellent abrasion resistance where softer coatings are specified. Colour retention of this product in the presence of ultra violet light sources is very good. This product has less than 0.1% free monomer which virtually eliminates worker exposure to isocyanates. Ratio is 2 to 1 by volume.
NR-80LVHS:    This product has a cured hardness of 80 Shore A. It is the 100% solids version of our BR-3S solvent based sprayable urethane exhibiting excellent abrasion resistance in a variety of material handling applications. Colour retention of this urethane coating is very good. This product is also a stripped  monomer of less than 0.1% isocyanate. Ratio is 2 to 1 by volume.

NR-95LVHS:    The cured hardness of this product is 95 Shore A. The NR-95LVHS has been successfully used where abrasion resistance and load release is a requirement. It is basically the 100% solids equivalent of our NR-7S solvent based urethane coating. Colour retention of this product is very good. Being a stripped monomer  provides a less 0.1% isocyanate working environment. Ratio is 2 to 1 by volume.

NR-95HT:         This product cures to 95 Shore A. This is our high temperature resistant urethane coating that will handle 173C (350F) or more. The NR-95HT has been successfully used to coat the interior of asphalt trucks and paving equipment. It has also handled stone up to 14 inches or 35 centimeters. Because of its smooth, slippery surface it has a very good track record for load release of sticky materials. Ratio is 2 to 1 by volume.

NR-5S 400:       This coating product cures to 92 Shore A. It is specifically formulated for use as a Reactor Building Containment liner for Atomic Energy Canada's Candu 600 Nuclear Power Plant. It is an exact 100% solids duplication of our NR-5S solvent based urethane coating. Its primary function is to provide leak tightness within the Reactor Building to withstand a 40 year design life of accumulated radiation exposure. Ratio is 2 to 1 by volume.
